We are committed to promoting a fair and inclusive workplace where all our people can flourish and reach their full potential.
Please note, the completion of this survey will not be used as part of the selection process for your role, and will not affect your chances of being successful
At IPSO, we are creating a culture which recognises and respects that people are different. We believe that representing the diversity of the society in which we work is fundamental to our goals of protecting people and promoting freedom of expression. We are committed to promoting a fair and inclusive workplace where all our people can flourish and reach their full potential.
We know diverse teams allow for a more creative and productive environment, and we strongly encourage applications from a wide range of people.
To monitor the effectiveness of our advertising and recruitment processes, we use a Diversity Monitoring Form for all recruitments, with questions modelled on census data. This enables us to a separate, confidential record of information on the characteristics of potential candidates, within the Equality Act 2010.
We ask that all candidates fill in this form, but each question is voluntary; you can answer ‘prefer not to say’ if you do not want to give the information.
The information you give us will be treated as confidential and will be used for monitoring purposes only. The data will not be analysed until after the end of the recruitment process, and it will not be used as part of the selection process or shared with decision-makers during the process. After the recruitment ends, it will be shared on an anonymous basis, and not connected with any individual candidate.
If you want any more information about why we are collecting this data or what we will do with it, please contact Tonia Milton, Head of Systems, at tonia.milton@ipso.co.uk. You can also see our full data privacy statement here.
