Thanks to all those who took part in our #AskIPSO Twitter Q&A on the Editors’ Code and review. It was fantastic to get so many questions on our work and we hope that those who took part found it informative and interesting.

One of IPSO’s values is to be transparent – so we do these Q&As to give everybody the opportunity to ask questions and hold us to account for our work.

We did get some difficult questions, as any organisation working in the public arena would expect – but we tried to answer them openly and honestly as possible. It was also great to get some interesting questions about issues like fake news, press standards and some of our Complaints Committee’s recent rulings.

For those who missed the Q&A, here’s some highlights from the discussion.

IPSO’s powers to launch Standards Investigations

Our Board’s recent statement about Trevor Kavanagh

For those who missed out this time – don’t worry. We’re planning a number of Q&As on different themes throughout the year, with the next one planned for May.
