Rt Hon John Whittingdale OBE MP gave the second IPSO lecture at Church House, London on Thursday 6th July 2017. Initially scheduled for May, the lecture was moved to July because of the general election. In his lecture, Mr Whittingdale considers the result of that election and its impact on press regulation.

IPSO has announced its plans for a ‘Town Hall’ style meeting with Q&A and panel discussion in central Birmingham, chaired by BBC West Midlands’ breakfast show host Adrian Goldberg, to mark its second anniversary. The meeting will take place on Wednesday 14 September 2016 at 6.30pm at KPMG's Birmingham office. The meeting is an opportunity for members of the public, community groups, local politicians and journalism students to hear from the press regulator and ask questions of an expert media panel.
