Details: IPSO is looking to recruit an articulate, efficient and highly motivated individual to join its complaints-handling team. IPSO is the self-regulatory body for the newspaper and magazine industries in the UK.
The role will include investigating complaints, drafting rulings and mediating between complainants and publications where appropriate. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, having achieved at least a 2:1 degree (or having been educated to an equivalent standard). An intelligent interest in the press and its self-regulation is essential and experience of handling complaints, preparing analysis of complex information, or dealing sensitively with members of the public in a professional capacity would be an advantage.
