As of Monday 25 July, IPSO has received over 1,900 complaints relating to this article.
The majority of these refer to Clauses 1 (Accuracy), 3 (Harassment) and 12 (Discrimination) of the Editors’ Code of Practice.
We will be taking forward a complaint from the party directly affected and will be handling this in accordance with our normal procedures. While the matter is ongoing, IPSO will not make any further comment on the case.
