IPSO welcomes new members from the South West

IPSO welcomes new members Bodmin Voice, Newquay Voice, St Austell Voice, Truro Voice, The Sunday Independent and Cornwall Today.

These local publications demonstrate their commitment to newsreaders by joining the vast majority of the UK's regional and local newspapers in the IPSO scheme of responsible self-regulation. IPSO regulates 95% of national newspapers by circulation, almost all local newspapers, most of the main magazines and a number of digital-only publications.

New members, including Truro Live, Cornwall Today and The Sunday Independent, agree to adhere to the Editors’ Code of Practice; to abide by IPSO’s rulings on complaints; and to submit annual statements reporting their approach to ensuring editorial standards.
