Testimonials
"Professional, illuminating, and well-organised. The students gained great insight into the important work of IPSO. [The trainer's] clear explanations, engaging delivery, good humour, and interactive quizzes made the session both informative and enjoyable."

"The students found the session hugely illuminating and the session underlined perfectly what they, as journalists, will need to consider with the content they create and work with as they grow into their careers."

"It is so valuable for media students to meet and interact with working journalists, and the same goes for meeting the regulators. It is one thing to study the Editors’ Code in regular classes but the workshop run by three IPSO staff on our campus put a face to those who apply it every day and provided a great opportunity to discuss the subtle challenges of interpreting its clauses boldly but safely. The buzz from the students suggests such outreach really makes a difference."

"The talk IPSO gave to our students at Man Met was crucial in helping them to understand the role a regulator plays in maintaining standards within journalism. Through illuminating case studies and a clear message about the detailed process of the complaints system, our media law students gained a clear understanding of the work of IPSO in the current regulatory landscape. In particular, it showed how IPSO places a strong emphasis on training, support and guidance on ethical issues to newsrooms and journalists, adopting a carrot rather a stick approach to regulation and aiming for a resolution between publishes and the public."

"[IPSO's] presentation was excellent and so in tune with what we are teaching the students in terms of media ethics. What better way in publicising the work of IPSO than doing so to a group of university students and media professionals of tomorrow."
